When Kim’s segment comes on, it primarily covers “positive” community information with no scary international news, or loud, rude behavior on the part of politicians. A typical cross-section of Kim’s invitees might include chefs, flower designers, a non-profit that shelters battered women, movie makers or authors, like me. Before my on air date, the station had requested photographs from my heavily laden collection of pictures in my new book, THESE BOYES ARE KILLING ME. On a large screen TV (as compared to a computer screen), a photo of deep sea diving, or goofing off in an underwater “living room” is extremely dramatic.
