On Saturday, 11/24 at 2 p.m. @ Julia Davis Branch, Terry Baker Mulligan will discuss and sign her memoir, Sugar Hill: Where the Sun Rose Over Harlem. Using Harlem’s cultural institutions and memorable characters as her backdrop, Mulligan writes joyously about weathering adolescence while history unfolds around her.
